METAPHYSICAL POEMS

     This week, we studied metaphysical poems in English Literature. They take an important place in the history. I learned it. Firstly, ''The Flea'' is an interesting poem. Because, Love is expressed a way of different through the flea. So, it's funny. Also, the poem's language is simple but meaning is very complex and engrossing. The other poems are '' Easter Wings'' and ''Death, be not proud''. Especially second poem has powerful meaning. But, it's written as if the speaker mocked the poem. 

       So, they are brief but ironic and they have intense meditations. They are written cutely.
