METAPHYSICAL POEMS

     This week, we studied metaphysical poems in English Literature. They take an important place in the history. I learned it. Firstly, ''The Flea'' is an interesting poem. Because, Love is expressed a way of different through the flea. So, it's funny. Also, the poem's language is simple but meaning is very complex and engrossing. The other poems are '' Easter Wings'' and ''Death, be not proud''. Especially second poem has powerful meaning. But, it's written as if the speaker mocked the poem. 

       So, they are brief but ironic and they have intense meditations. They are written cutely. 

Literature is life. Because, it includes everything. For example;  history, sociology, nature, culture and love etc. We generally express ourselves thanks to literature.

As an Elt student, I’m willing to learn literature. I want to teach everything about language to my students. So, I need to learn english literature.  Also, it might be helpful to think creative. And, thanks to literature, ı’m sure that ı will learn about the great authors.  

Besides;  according to me, literature is much more complicated. Because there are many literary phrase and idiom. So, ı think that ıt can be harder.  

I hope that this course will be enjoyable and excellent. I won’t get bored.
